Kari Samantha (born April 28 on 1967) Wuhrer is an American actor and singer. Wuhrer began her acting career in her teens. Her most well-known role was as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders and also for the role of the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. She is the youngest of three siblings. In her teens she was a nightclub performer by sneaking from the house. Kari Wuhrer, born in 1967 was an American model, singer and actor. Her acting career at the Wooster school when she was 13 years old. Born in Brookfield Connecticut on April 28 her birthplace, she was raised there. Her father is German American and an auto dealer as well as a police official. Kari is the youngest of three siblings. In her teens her nightclub performances were a highlight when she would sneak away and take a break. Kari started acting in the Wooster School aged 13 before going on to study drama in New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College as well as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under the renowned Uta Hagen. Kari began acting when she was in her teens, with her first TV break coming in the 1987's MTV Remote Control.
