Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known as the star of Fox's House medical drama. As a child of strict Jewish background, Lisa Edelstein was able to move from Wayne to New York City when she aged 18 and began attending Tisch School of Arts. The school soon became a fixture in the club scene in New York and began becoming the talk of the town. Press also was impressed by her. Then, she used her experiences and her fame in order to write and compose an musical entitled Positive Me in which she played a role in. She landed her first job at MTV as host of Awake on The Wild Side shortly after. When it ended up going off the air, she was able to appear in films and television production, initially in short roles before establishing herself as an actress.
