Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts, born October 28, 1967 in Atlanta with Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was one of the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. Her father was a theatre enthusiast from a very young age. As a student in Emory University he appeared in diverse productions, both on and off campus. He joined the air force in 1953. During his time being stationed at Biloxi Mississippi was cast in a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was as well in the Air force. They got married in 1955. Their first son, Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. Walter along with his wife left their Air Force service in the year 1957, when they enrolled Walter at Tulane University. Walter joined Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio at the time the family moved from Atlanta to Georgia's Decatur in the year 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of a Sunday morning show for children, Bum Bum and His Buddies. In 1964, Walter and Betty Lou established The Actors and Writers Workshop. The workshop lasted six years. They welcomed in 1965 two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
