LeBron Raymone James Sr. - born 30 December 1984 is a professionally-trained American basketball player. He is second in overall career score and 7th most career assists. The NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, which is a record. James was also named to The NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. As a total, James participated in more than 10 NBA Finals, the third-most ever. The streak spans eight consecutive years from 2011 to 2018. James has been selected for an NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's very first player to have scored 10,000+ points as well as rebounds and assists in his career in 2022. James played basketball for St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, in Akron Ohio. The national press praised James as an NBA player of the year. To prepare for the pro game it was his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the number one overall pick during the NBA draft in 2003. In 2004 he was named NBA Rookie. Then, he quickly was one of the league's best players and was awarded the NBA MVP title in both the years 2009 and 2010.
