Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. She is half English, one-half Spanish. The parents of her are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The daughter is an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. Her mother is Spanish and English descent. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's previous marriage. After living in Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria. According to Taylor-Joy, this removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to master English in the hopes of moving back to Argentina. Her school had to change to Northlands in order to attend Hill House. Later she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. After she turned 16, she quit school to take on a full-time job in acting. Taylor-Joy's ambition to become an actor began in the early years of her life. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the very first model to hire her as model for professional models.
